Nikah (Marriage) Services by Imam Tahir Anwar

Imam Tahir Anwar is available to perform Nikahs here locally in the Bay Area, and across the United States. For those looking to have their Nikah ceremony officiated by Imam Tahir, we kindly ask that you familiarize yourself with the procedures outlined below. Please ensure you can meet all the requirements before reaching out for a booking.

1. Both the bride and groom must be Muslim.
2. A valid Marriage License must be obtained from any county in the State of California (for a wedding performed in California).
3. Witnesses: There should be two Muslim male witnesses present.
4. Mahr (Dowry): The Mahr must be agreed upon and documented before the Nikah ceremony.
5. Availability: The Nikah will only be scheduled based on Imam Tahir’s availability.
6. If Imam Tahir is available to perform your Nikah, an application will be sent out for the bride & groom to fill out.
7. Post-Nikah Documentation: After the ceremony, Imam Tahir will manage all related paperwork.
